Course Fees
Whether you're just beginning your home education journey or looking to add structured, exam-aligned classes to an existing timetable, we aim to help. This page provides an explanation of how our courses work, whatβs included and the fees involved, so you can make the best decision for your child with confidence.
To help parents and carers compare the different routes, we use topics as a common unit of measurement. We do it this way, as different courses have different levels of contact time, i.e., some lessons are an hour and some an hour and a half; some courses have one lesson a week and others have two, and other courses are completed independently.
A βtopicβ includes:
Directed Learning. This is either a live, interactive lesson or, for self-paced routes, a set of learning activities designed to be completed within an hour.
Guided Independent Learning. This might be a recorded short lecture, academic reading, watching a video, taking notes or planning.
An Independent Learning Assignment (ILA). This assignment serves as a vehicle for students to apply the knowledge they have acquired and for teachers to check understanding. ILA tasks are designed to be of an appropriate length for the age group.
Additional Resources. We provide accompanying notes, videos, activities, games and quizzes to provide support, challenge and growth.
Whichever route you choose, the fee quoted is all you will pay. There are no additional charges for coursework tutorials, mock papers or marking. Fees cover absolutely everything. This means no nasty surprises, just everything students need to succeed.
With Nexus Educate courses, youβre not just gaining access to a series of webinars; youβre receiving the best possible teaching, exam preparation, feedback and guidance throughout your programme of study.

π§ Intensive Exam Prep
We schedule additional revision sessions for all classes in April, following the release of the final exam timetables. We revise key areas for specific exam papers and questions and deliver workshops focused on answer structures, time management and exam preparation.

We offer one-to-one sessions for students who may need extra help with specific subjects or concepts. This can be arranged on a flexible schedule to accommodate individual needs. We do our best to accommodate every student who requests this.

We mark Independent Learning Assignments thoroughly and in detail, providing individual, personal feedback. We highlight students' strengths and areas for development. We celebrate effort and attainment and offer clear targets to help students reach their full potential.
